Floresta Urbana implements literally green architecture projects, as well as urban farms, vegetated building surfaces and urban environmental art interventions in public spaces, always aiming at the participation and mobilization of the local population.
These so-called Nature-Based Solutions promise economic efficiency, being optimized by scientific investigations such as thermo-energetic computer simulations and urban microclimate simulations by Floresta Urbana itself (using CITYgreen, ENVImet 5.0, EnergyPlus, among analysis software).
The detailed quantification of the partially subtle and invisible benefits – including monetary ones – allows the cost/benefit ratio of the intervention to be calculated to justify it. Floresta Urbana provides this type of consultancy and specific services for companies, such as the installation of billboards and green panels, consultancy on environmental licensing, thermal comfort, integration workshops, urban landscaping and tree planting for environmental compensation.
Installation and monitoring of Urban Rooftop Farms (or Rooftop-Farms), Parklets, Vertical Gardens, Green Roofs, Artistic interventions in public spaces and several other innovative typologies that promote integration between the Urbanity of the Metropolis and (its own) Nature.
